When faculty met last summer to revise the core
curriculum they invited Munira Khalil '98 and four other students to spend a
day discussing the program from the student point of view. "We talked about how
students sometimes view Gen Ed as unapproachable, as something that you have to
get done to graduate, and how we could make it more applicable to their daily
lives," she said.
