When students arrive on campus each August, it's one of the first ways they identify themselves: "I'm on third floor of Andrews." or "I live in East." Empty dorm rooms quickly transform into warm and inviting spaces, and first-year students at Colgate soon find that their residence halls are communities.
Our photographers (including some students) set out to show Colgate students in their own spaces last fall. Here's a glimpse into where first-year students live and thrive.
