Practice makes perfect

"This is great!" said Trevor Haughton '07 during a pause from playing the Franklin G. Brehmer Memorial Organ on a Monday afternoon in the Chapel. "I never played an organ like this before coming here . . . I saw it, I asked, and now I'm playing it."

Opportunities abound for Colgate students to hone their skills -- and they display a huge range of interests and talents. Whatever the activity, said Corey Landstrom, director of the Center for Leadership and Student Involvement, "I think Colgate's leadership recognizes that life outside the classroom is a significant component of where and how students learn. They can develop meaningful skills that will translate to their life after Colgate."
