Outstanding tuition bills/fines/equipment must be resolved.
You will receive a hold letter at the end of April.
All outstanding monies must be paid/cleared by May 1. Please do not call during senior week requesting to pay be credit card over the phone.
Students with any outstanding balance will not receive grades or transcripts. Students with significant balances will have their diplomas withheld
along with grades and transcripts. Pay early to avoid complications with your graduation process. (M-F, 8:30-noon and 1-4 p.m.)
Dr. Miller will maintain your health records for seven years (10 years for immunization records only).
Once you are settled somewhere and you would like a summary of these records - you should submit a written request and include your name,
date of birth, Colgate ID and the name and address of where they records should be sent. Dr. Miller will withhold any sensitive information if you request it.
Your parents have received information regarding housing, activities, and the Commencement schedule. Confirmation will go out the first week of May about specific housing arrangements. Seniors pick up keys for parents at Residential Life, 5/11- 5/15.
From March 23 until April 7 seniors will be able to reserve up to 5 guest tickets for the graduation ceremony. PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER APRIL 7, THE TICKET RESERVATION PROCESS WILL CLOSE. Seniors need to reserve the tickets on the 2009 tab located on the portal. Additional tickets can be requested at this time. The dean of the college office will notify seniors the week of April 13 if their requests for additional tickets have been granted.
Through the ticket reservation process, seniors will be able to RSVP for the post-ceremony reception, request special accommodations for their family, and provide the phonetic spelling of their name for the graduation announcer.
Tickets can be picked up along with your graduation regalia at the Colgate Bookstore on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of senior week (May 14, 15, & 16.) Students MUST present their Colgate ID and sign for their tickets and regalia. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PICK UP ANOTHER STUDENT’S GRADUATION REGALIA OR TICKETS. There will be no Sunday pick up for gowns or tickets.

Due to limited seating in Sanford Field House, we are providing additional seating with closed circuit access to the ceremony in several locations around campus. These rooms will be open at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 17.

Transcripts Spring 2009
Transcript service for currently enrolled students will be suspended starting May 8. During this period the registrar’s office staff will focus exclusively on final grade entry and commencement preparations. Regular transcript service will resume no later than Tuesday, May 26.
If you need a transcript before May 8, you must submit your signed request by Thursday, May 7. Transcript request forms are available in the registrar’s office and may be picked up during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until noon and 1:00 until 4:30 p.m.), or available online at www.colgate.edu/registrar, using the ‘Transcript Requests’ link. Before you leave campus, you may also want to submit a request for an updated transcript (with spring 2009 grades) to be sent once service is resumed, no later than Tuesday, May 26.
Final Grades for Spring 2009
Graduating Seniors – Final grades for the Class of 2009 are due to the registrar’s office
on Monday, May 11, and will be available via the Portal on Thursday, May 14. Final GPAs for graduating seniors will be available at that time as well.
