University Commencement

(Ticket required) Sanford Field House Doors open at 9:00 a.m. This year’s commencement address will be given by Geoffrey Canada, president and CEO of the Harlem Children’s Zone, an innovative, pioneering program that helps children succeed in school and life through a “holistic system of education, social-service and community-building programs.”
Immediately following the ceremony, reception at Van Doren Field.

Indoor Viewing Facilities (no ticket required) Due to limited seating in Sanford Field House, we are providing additional seating with closed circuit access to the ceremony in several locations around campus. These rooms will be open at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 17.
