Senior Class Day Luncheon

Whitnall Field

This event, sponsored by the Colgate Alumni Corporation, marks the beginning of graduation weekend. This year’s speaker will be Chase Carey ’76, President and Chief Executive Officer, The DIRECTV Group, Inc., and a current member of the Board of Trustees. Invitations are required and the dress is semiformal.

On-Campus Housing
Seniors are asked to pick up keys for families who have reserved on-campus housing Wednesday, May 11 - Friday, May 13 in the Office of Residential Education, Drake Hall between the hours of 8 a.m. - noon and 1 - 4 p.m.

Phi Beta Kappa Initiation

In recognition of outstanding scholarly achievement, selected seniors are inducted into the nation's oldest and most prestigious academic honor society.

Faculty Reception for seniors and graduate students and their guests

Refreshments will be served

Reservations are required but if space is available, tickets can be purchased at the door.

Limited seating – tickets required. (Concert tickets will be distributed to seniors through the Dean of the College Office starting May 2.)

This Commencement tradition will feature Father J. Bryan Hehir, the Parker Gilbert Montgomery Professor of the Practice of Religion and Public Life at the Kennedy School of Government. Hehir is the former CEO and President of Catholic Charities USA.
